Localization checks catch unit, punctuation, and fluency issues

Screenshot localization reviews now flag unit spacing, locale-specific punctuation, capitalization, and unnatural copy, and always explain findings in English.

Localization reviews now look for the issues a native reviewer catches on a first read. New rules cover units of measure, punctuation, capitalization, and fluency, and the formatting check follows the exact locale's regional conventions. For example, fr-FR puts a space before ! and fr-CA does not, so each page is held to its own rule.

  • Unit spacing: 43g is flagged with the correction 43 g
  • Fluency: unclear or fragmentary copy is reported as info with a natural rewrite
  • English reports: explanations are always in English and quote the page text verbatim; corrections stay in the target language
  • strictness: 'errors' turns off fluency findings for teams that want hard errors only
