Localization Check

Is your site actually localized? Let's find out.

Paste a URL. Donobu reads the page's declared language and hreflang tags, then checks the rendered page for untranslated text, mixed-language content, and formatting errors. Free.

How it works

Three steps. No setup.

01

Paste your URL

A public URL is all Donobu needs to start. No integration, no install.

02

Donobu runs the scan

It loads the page, reads the declared language and hreflang tags, and checks the rendered page for untranslated text, mixed-language content, truncated strings, and wrong date, number, or currency formats.

03

You get a link

We send you a shareable report of every localization defect found, with a pointer toward the fix.

What you get

A report worth reading

  • The page's declared language and any hreflang tags it advertises
  • Untranslated or mixed-language text left visible on the page, including buttons, labels, and alt text
  • Text truncation, mojibake and encoding errors, and locale-wrong date, number, or currency formats
  • A link you can share with your team. No login required
Before you paste a URL

The rules we hold ourselves to

We only test what you tell us we can. The attestation in the form is not a formality.

The scan is read-only and polite: no destructive actions, and it stops rather than fights past a CAPTCHA or bot wall.

This check never needs a login. It only reads the page as rendered, nothing behind a signed-in wall.

We do not scan banking, healthcare, or government sites. Ever.

FAQ

Questions worth answering upfront

What does the check cover?

Donobu loads the page you submit, reads its declared language and hreflang tags, and scans the rendered page for localization defects: untranslated or mixed-language text, truncation that reads as a translation-length problem, inconsistent date, number, or currency formats, mojibake and encoding errors, and untranslated buttons, labels, or placeholders.

Is this a full localization audit?

No, and we would rather tell you that up front. This is an automated scan of the one page you submit, not a manual review of every locale, page, or user flow in your product. It catches the localization defects visible on that page. A full audit also needs native-speaker review, multi-locale coverage, and judgment calls automation cannot make.

How long does it take?

Reports usually land within a day. Your report link is live the moment you submit, and it fills in once the check completes.

Is it safe to run on production?

Yes. The check only loads the page and reads what is rendered, and it never deletes data, submits forms, or takes any other destructive action. It also stops rather than works around a CAPTCHA or bot wall.

What happens after I get the report?

You can book a walkthrough with the team. This free check covers localization on one page. We will show you what continuous coverage looks like across your whole product and every locale you ship.

Why is this free?

It's how we introduce ourselves. This check is a sample of what Donobu does. Deeper, continuous coverage across your whole product is the paid service.
