Mobile tests get triage, auto-heal, caching, and session reuse

The mobile plugin now matches web tests on failure triage, auto-heal, AI-step caching, and evidence, and can reuse one device session across tests to cut device-farm setup time.

Native mobile tests now get the same treatment as web tests. A failing mobile test is triaged and can be auto-healed, cached AI steps replay without a model call, and results carry the same evidence. The HTTP testing plugin gets triage and auto-heal too.

Mobile suites can also share one device session across tests. On a cloud device farm, the device lease, app install, and sign-in are then paid once per spec file or worker instead of once per test.

  • sessionReuse: { scope: 'file' } or 'worker', with an optional maxAgeMinutes
  • deviceSession.isFresh tells a test whether it needs to sign in
  • Each test still starts at the app's launch screen, with its own results and triage
  • Screen recordings follow Playwright's use.video mode, and iOS records for up to 30 minutes
  • A donobu-mobile agent skill ships with the plugin for coding agents
